If I recall my warhammer back story correctly, Sang was in about 30k being the Primarch of the Blood Angels and all. Not surprising that Dante, and infact a lot of blood angels, would resemble him. ;3

Ah, I thought at first it was a Warhammer Fantasy character. Didn't see the 40000 tag(s).
It's been a while since I read any literature on the subject too.

I was actually thinking Empire, but I was never into Fantasy. 40k is where I'm at.

Empire's far more like germanic or spanish armies. Generally not too into the large gems and such on armour.

<_< I tried picking up skaven then dark elves, never could get the hang of fantasy's style compared to 40k.
