Background:
In his youth, Sun was relatively average. He excelled in school, especially in creative writing, but not enough to get him any real recognition. He found out he was gay in middle school, and his grades plummeted in his high school years as he spent most of his time having sex with other boys instead of actually studying. After his parents found out about this, they kicked him out, and he spent the rest of his high school years at his friends' houses, before graduating and getting a job as a sex worker. He's always wanted to pursue creative writing in college, but he barely has the money to pay for his food and apartment, much less a four-year university.
