 takaa had one of his character's, Keller participate in one of these tournaments that takes place every so often. Riyoh was not invited as a playable character. Which is fine, the lion had other things on his mind. It's just occasionally, he appears out of nowhere and is ready to take on some competition.

Whatever Keller had done in the events in this tournament, seemed to earn the battle of one of the most mysterious lions ever known. A mostly quiet leonine kept that way while he assuringly accepts the challange. Wielding his more rarer blue lightning, and proficient to various forms of the bare handed combat. This wasn't going to be easy for the golden "killer" lion.

The real question is, would Riyoh be unlockable? You'll just have to take the reigns of Keller, and find out.
