Young (roughly 6-10 year old) Sara has a nightmare, so her mother comforts her so she'll go back to sleep.
In my comic Sara doesn't know her parents all that well, they mysteriously dissapeared one by one (father first) by the time she turned 10. Ever since then she's had to survive on her own.
