I used to watch the ever living hell out of Star Blazers ("Space Battleship Yamato" in Japan) as a kid. So when I recently found out that they'd remade the show as "Space Battleship Yamato 2199", I was way beyond giddy with excitement. I hopped on CrunchyRoll and binged the hell out of it in just a few days.

As far as remakes go, they really knocked this one out of the ball park.



And then my sweetheart  summercat runs off and commissions this art as a gift to me. I was speechless. Love you, sweetie. Thank you for this wonderful gift!
