After a years-long absence, Bret and his team make their return!

Quick synopsis of the story and recap of the last events:
Bret found work with Team Rocket after months of unemployment after high school. And with that work, he was given his first pokemon. Growlithe. From there, Bret's life turned into a whirlwind of activity. He acquired and amassed a huge team of seventeen pokemon, sometimes with Team Rocket's blessing, and sometimes behind the organization's back. But most recently, the boy was caught by a coworker as he was having some romantic time with one of his pokemon friends, and things went spiraling sharply out of control...

Jerry, Bret's annoying and scheming coworker, found himself on the wrong end of Bret's Raikou's wrath. Bret's cover was blown, and a great battle ensued with him and his friends pitted against all of Team Rocket. Giovanni himself fought against the teen, but Bret found an escape only thanks to some help from a certain genetically-created cat pokemon...

ETR1 picks up the story exactly where BTR100 left off. What Bret will do now, what will happen with him and his team, and the future of his story will all unfold over the coming weeks, months, and years. A new chapter of Escaping Team Rocket will be posted every Sunday, just as BTR and JTR before it always have.
