This is a kitten that was offered to me on the evening of 26 June. She's (I'm going to assume it's a female for now) a tiny little thing which is why I made sure to photograph her in comparison to the size of a 6" (15cm) saucer. She is solid black (my favorite color for a cat) and is very demanding when it comes time for food. LOL. Right now, I'm feeding her canned cat formula and canned kitten food. Right now, I don't have a name for her but, I'm going to wait until I take her to the vet for the first time on 5 July. If anybody would like to offer a suggestion for a name, I'm willing to consider almost any name except names like Midnight, Blackie, Shadow, or any other "normal" name for a black cat. I want something unique but, at the same time, fitting for her. Thanks for any assistance you're willing to give me.

Probably a little late for ideas but some of the black cat names I remember being used in our extended family (my relos used to breed Manx cats so there have been a few although black Manx are not so common):-
BC (obvious Black Cat, sad to say that my choice for one)
Onyx (still obvious)
Ink
Bagheera (of course)
Drusy (named after a sort of black quartz)
Blot (see an ink pattern?)
Schorl
DoN (Dark of Night)
Rorschach (still on the ink line of thought, yup we are weird)
Ace (Ace of Spades, better for a male usually)
Coal
Ninja
Raven (always good for a female)

Yeah, you're right. I've already chosen a name for her. Her official name is Me-you. I chose that name because when I first got her, I would make that sound and she's respond and come running to me. My mom wanted me to call her Raven but, I didn't want to saddle her with that name. BTW, did you know that on YouTube there's a solid black cat named Cole and her adopted brother, an orange tabby, named Marmalade. I haven't seen them in a while but, Cole was always such an entertaining cat. I'm hoping that Me-you does the same for me.
