Argo is a deviant sausage. He is a shapeshifter, and his main form is actually a parrot.

Not necessarily. His current weight will be proportional to the weight of what he transform into, minus some energy and fat burned from the transformation. If he was a chubby parrot, he'll be a slightly less chubby dragon; even if the dragon he meant to imitate was slim. So on and so forth. Buuut, he'll eat anything he can get his hands on.
