Wheeee, another finished piece! This time, with some deets on the character and setting~.
This is Willow Salicae, and she is a dragon species of my own creation, a Forest Dragon. Forest dragons are, in truth, a species of true dragon (as in the D&D sort), despite their strongly mammalian appearance and generally small stature compared to the more familiar breeds. Aging in the same manner, with a lifespan akin to copper dragons. Though, unlike the chromatics or metallics, they generally have a neutral or chaotic component to their alignment, owing to their strong connection with nature, typically chaotic neutral, though on occasion can be chaotic or neutral good. They are virtually never evil in alignment, given the species has a particularly strong connection strong connection the the Plane of Positive Energy; something that is expressed in the territories they hold.
Generally keeping to areas of wild forest, territories of forest dragons tend to be thrivingly healthy, with the aura of positive energy exuded by these dragons lingers wherever they spend time, meaning that as they patrol their chosen territory, the area is gradually enriched with positive energy, causing both flora and fauna to flourish, even in normally adverse conditions, wherever these dragons lay claim.
