Indeed they are. We get them in our front yard along with Tui's.

That's so cool! We don't get many kererus in our yard, they're a bit further up in the hills. Get a whole bunch of tuis though, I love hearing them sing. We very occasionally get a morepork in the area too which is such a lovely sound at night <3

Ah, moreporks are cool. We don't get them down where we're at. Have to travel into the hills a bit before we can find them. And the Tui's have the best songs.
