I'm not as productive as I want to be yet, but I've done some studies by referencing animals from photos. I tried to make them as realistic as possible.
I came up with an idea, when I finish this sketchbook I will buy another exact same one and do every sketch once again but more stylized. This sounds like a nice task to do.
Also I adore using this medium, I never tried drawing on kraft paper before. These sketches are done with sepia, cheap markers (warm gray tones), cheap brush liner and permanent white pencil.
White-tailed deer (top left) and mallard were drawn on June 9th, boar and marsh deer were done on June 22nd and today I sketched tufted deer and caribou.
I usually upload these on my Tumblr, Twitter and Instagram since I think these are not really worth of uploading them separately on FA or DeviantArt... So if you want to see more of these studies before I upload another sketch dump, feel free to follow me there. 🦌
