So there's a cartoon from the 90s called Road Rovers. It's about some dogs that get turned into super heroes and it's pretty much the biggest contributor to my furriness, among o t h e r t h i n g s.
We recently found the show online and watched through it, and I decided to do some fan art! These two here are Hunter and Muzzle. (I'm sure you can guess which is which!) Hunter is the leader of the group and has super speed, and is very cheery and optimistic. What else would you expect from a golden retriever!
Muzzle the rottweiler is his best bud from the pound they used to be in. He was also the first test subject for the machine which gave the others their new forms and abilities and it kinda messed him up. He's super strong 'n super aggressive so the others keep him all strapped up until things start looking bleak in a fight, then they cut him loose and he DESTROYS EVERYTHING.
I tried to keep with the style of the show for this one, and added a slight grainy filter to age it a bit and make it look more like something from that era. Anywho, this cheesy cartoon is near and dear to my heart and I hope you enjoy the pic!

This is coming from someone who is both born in 1997 and someone who’s fallen way out of touch with TV shows both old and new, but I just saw a clip and holy shit is it weird (yes, I know the irony of saying this in a website that is an echo chamber for my fellow weirdos). I think it is because of the clip’s tonal shift between actual euthanasia to seemingly human like dogs, and all five of them isn’t above sniffing each other’s asses.
