i got mine at hobby lobby, but if your walmart has a good crafts section it might be worth a try! any craft shop should have them, like michaels or ac moore.
if you're looking to do colored pencil (like i did) you'll want the 'rough and ready' kind. for painting they have a smooth kind too.
