..or however you wish to spell the word. Another drawing from a photo by 
hoofer, this time with rather a lot of artistic freedom as I'm not into drawing tack. I love this breed of horses, although I've never tried to draw them before. Back in the day when I was taking regular riding lessons, I often rode a knabstup and he was a real sweetie. I was much saddened by what Hoofer said about the condition the horses were in. I hope they are in a better place now.

Yesterday I had a rare day of having nothing at all to do all day except to draw. I think this probably took about 3 hours to complete. ^_^
And omg, I would be very honoured to be feature in your journal. Incidentally, should you wish to, you are free to post drawings I do based on your photos on your profile as well, as long as you give credit where credit is due etc. Also, wanted to let you know that I will probably draw another one of your horses (Cody I think he is called, the one with bad shoulder) at some point, but given that I have a crazy week coming up, it probably won't be until next weekend at the very earliest.

I must admit that I was getting a tad bored with spots towards the end of the drawing. Hours of fun and all that. I had some trouble with some of the shading to get, as you said, the depth correct and I must admit that I'm still not totally happy with it. But it's okay. ^_^
