Meet Snox, the snow fox dragon! :D Another character I'm never going to do anything with!
Lives in the Antarctic in burrows deep, deep in the ice. Feeds primarily on fish and ice, and occasionally on penguins or unguarded humans if it's hungry enough. (But warm-blooded animals tend to be too, well... warm.)
Despite it's wings the snox is flightless, though they do help it swim through water quite effectively. Despite it's soft appearance, the fur of a snox is like shards of glass, so be wary of touching them! Their hearts as so cold, they make dry ice feel like a warm, fuzzy blanket, and the rest of them follows suit. Although they'd die in a warm climate quite quickly, the amount of heat their body would steal from the surrounding area would quickly make even a tropical island like a frosty desert. For a short time, of course; eventually the area would warm up again, probably.
(It's a bit hard to see, but the membrane of the wing stretches up to behind the ears, along the neck. This is an important, defining feature of the snox.)
All snox follow a fairly simple appearance: white body with icy cold blues, purples, and some even have green, and they glitter in the light. Eye color can be anything, though warm colors are still quite rare. Their blood is basically ocean water, so it's blue. It is unknown how the snox reproduces at this time, as they are a very shy and secretive species.
… I need more sleep.
