Gaizka (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2750974/), engages in a battle with Grant (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2770575/). This is their first encounter in the burning village where Grant killed all of Gaizka's friends. Now, the background is blue, but that is because I wanted to display the intimate and tactical aspect of battle. True, Gaizka lost his friends, but in the heat of the battle where the heart races, he must have a clear mind and concentrate so his head doesn't get chopped of.
Gaizka wields a naginata and Grant wields twin blades that can attach and form a longer staff (with blades on each end (Someone tell me what that weapon is called O.o)). Oh and Gaizka's naginata is kind of reinforced with like.. steel, because that's how macho he is.

I find fisticuffs unappealing and a little savage and barbaric. There's a certain grace and skill involved with swords, spears, and weapons as the such (Believe me, they're no kung fu masters.. (omg I should make a panda...)). Certainly Gaizka and Grant are capable of ripping a human's head off with one fell swoop, but fighting hand-to-hand is like last resort. (Lawl remember I said this isn't the final yet). When the going get's tough, they'll drop their weapons and duke it out like real bamfs. xD
