This is what happens when a fully armored knight on horseback is charging at you at full speed with the intention of chopping you to pieces...
I really wish I had all the time in the world to draw my stories! As it is now, I have way too many ideas and I know I'll manage to put on paper just a small fraction of them, it's quite frustrating!
Anyways, I had an idea for a short comic (a few pages) where Enorach and Lars find themselves in a battle and try to put their hands on a noble in order to get a decent ransom. Unfortunately the only noble they find is a badass knight who tries his best to chop them in half.... Welp, the chances of me drawing that are close to zero anyways, which is why I decided to at least sketch one of the scenes I had in mind :D

If you're on foot, and armed with a long sword?
Best tactic is what was shown in the movie 'BraveHeart', with Mel Gibson.
Wait, challenge/look threatening, and then drop to the side and take-out the horses leg(s).
Once the mounted enemy is thrown, they're easy to kill/engage from that point on.
In theory.

Oh god they are in trouble! But yes I think the plan is good...in theory XD
They're certainly doing the right thing by facing the charging knight, which is impressive in itself. From what I've read, not many people would have the nerve.
I really like these glimpses of your world! And I love the care you've taken with their outfit, and the arrow sticking in Lars' (?) armour.

The big stick of Death certainly is dangerous! Also, many knights had saddles that made it very hard for them to be dismounted (at least in the Renaissance).
Generally knights worked together in formation though, that is certain, so 1v1 would be a quite different scenario!
