Soooo, a while back 
did these really pretty Hippocampi and I was like, "Hey! You make me want to draw one!" and of course it took a million years to pass, but tada.
Hippocampus.
I drew a couple back in the day, WAY back, one was based on a lionfish and...can't even recall the other-but yeah.
Obviously this one is as based on a betta fish- I have like, scores of betta pictures with different colors and tail types sitting around in my little animal reference folder thing. The colors and crazy patterns all ways get me...if and when I color this, probably going to be based on the one I was referring to for fins while creating this. Was either going to be a betta or a Discus, which I also have tons of pictures of. Oh the horror of all the animal pictures I have...it dwarfs my TF image folder something fierce.
Gotta run out and roll around screaming at a friend's house because Negative wants to play MtG...so boo. I was going to finish stuff...maybe i'll try and be traditional and my hand will explode on impact with the paper.

Thank you very much. :) And yeees, me too! Just so much to chose from when it comes to betta too as far as colors go. Here's hoping I do eventually get around to it, lol. ><;

gosh he's hawt! He totally matches my Roseyh when it comes to pretty frills and fins XD Now I want to do some art of her again too >:) (and maybe with this guy if that's ok with you)

Aww, don't feel bad. I went to bed at 10 last night, down, depressed and totally drained from my first day at the demented home. Blaaaaaaaarrrggghhh. Getting up at 6 in the mornings sucks, but it sucks even more when you know you are going to a palce you don't want to return to ;-;

Well, Optimus is mostly light blue with red on the outer half of his fins.
Megatron is mostly red with some purple accents at the base of his fins...I couldn't find a silver/red one. But he does have rage issues, so it works. lol

LOL. Rage issues! YES! XD GUH I miss fighting fish. Will have to wait til I return to the darkness that is NC...
And I remember seeing the photo of your car I think on your gallery! I still need to get a big 'ole Decepticon insignia...perhaps at the convention i'll be lucky and run across one. @_@;
