Wanted to do some muscle practice so I decided to draw a pose from Kyro's backstory. Kyro doesn't have the best aim, but when you can throw something the size of a fridge, you don't have to be pinpoint accurate. =P
Lineart is slowly improving. I coloured this entirely with the magic wand tool, making sure my lines all joined up. Still not 100% sure how I want to approach drawing fur with lineart. Presumably you wouldn't be able to see all this muscle tone through Kyrophon's coat. But that was the point of the drawing and so here it is.
Most likely going to be a heathen and just leave this half done in flat colour I think. I need more practice at lineart and sketching than I do at colouring and shading. Maybe I'll move this to scraps and come back to it later.

Hmm, yeah, good point about it catching on things and generally being a menace. His mane gets in his eyes a bit when it gets long, but I guess the rest of it would all get caught in straps and actually, chainmail in particular sounds like it wouldn't be much fun haha
Yeah, I've been having a bit of a browse around for other peoples' approaches. Kyrophon's one of my newest characters, so he's still probably got a bit of refinement to go to work this sorta thing out.
