lol =3 So someone pointed out my characters calves are too big, and that real women have slim and slender legs from the knee down. He/she attached a picture:

Picture is of a leg model, fashioning tights. Hm.... very realistic ^_~.
Now I am no spring chicken, but I also have realistic views of women (and men's) bodies. Obviously I, as an artist who lives off their artwork, tends to go more for the amplified body parts ^_~ if you know what I mean.
I always appreciate crit and comments, and I was just too giggly not to do something about the post (which is in my Mahou Oh No comic, page 7 that went up today). BTW, don't yell at them! I like to have people notice things that I might not! BEHAVE O MINIONS! =D
I found a captive Mir, and took a photo of the Mir's leg. Shrunk so you don't see the mir hasn't shaved in a day. LOL.
I then traced the leg. All this was done while I am delirious from lack of sleep, and laughing quietly to myself as the BF snores beside me in teh bed.
I then plopped the SUSPECT LEG beside my tracing (haha I never trace. Look at teh monkey toes!!!!)
I see big meaty calves that go rawr. and fun toes. I see this in all three images. =3
People come in all shapes and sizes. Especially 2d characters with heads as big as their torsos and GIANT EYES. =D
There is no point to this, but it was fun and was a waste of time hehee.
Obviously I raeg at this crit! RAWR! lol =3

You didn't take into account perspective... the photo was taken at an angle from above, which creates foreshortening. The drawn leg, however (I'm assuming it came from your webcomic's latest page), is taken from a picture with a different perspective angle.
To be honest, it's not that the calve was too large, but it seemed to me that the feet/foot was too small: the legs were not at an angle or perspective which required foreshortening.

I always like them live - but I've had problems with models in the past. They talk to me on their breaks and lean over my shoulder (and their boobs touch me. ew. dont ugh. dont do that. ><!)
or the guys always managing a crotchshot angle, no matter where I sit - they move their dick to follow - like a fucking sundial.
=3
When we move, I'll be taking up painting again =D.
