I am so, so sorry for what I did. But Dr. Matheson assured me that you'd thank me in the long run, that the facility was the only way to make you better, so I had to take you there. Please try to see it from my point of view, James. For three months you've been seeing and hearing and even talking to things and people that aren't there. Still, I feel terrible, even worse since you aren't here to cheer me up.

Today's our one-year anniversary since moving in together. I can't believe we have to spend it apart... But I figured I'd try to call my father again today. He waited a few seconds before hanging up this time.
