Once Michael's screams stopped and he no longer struggled, the fox released him and let him fall to the floor. It gazed around a bit licking the blood at its snout. The chamber was quiet again.
After dropping Michael it stood there a moment before moving off to the far wall of the large chamber where a pool and running water was. He needed to clean his fur now.
Behind the large stone sarcophagus, Tiera was curled up against it. Clasping her hands tightly over her mouth as she shook. Tears running down her face after seeing what the fox had done. If she stayed quiet she hoped he might not notice her.
