" A long night of romance and desire has passed and now our bed gives us a soft surface to relax and heal. Scented candles continue to flicker and dance in the corner, giving the room a small glow of gold and a relaxing orange hue. The smell of roses and pumpkin pie radiate from the candles, mixing along with our own scents. She lies there, content and calm. The sound of her breathing against the sweat-soaked pillow could be heard along with the chirping of crickets outside. I lay beside her, gazing over her form with my tired eyes. She is sound asleep–a deep and quiet sleep. Her tail sticks out, never allowing the blanket to cover her rear. I can't help but to caress her back, feeling the fur strands brush against my fingers. My fingers glide through her short fur like combing through grass. She doesn't stir from her sleep as I massage her back. She continues to rest easy, her body tuckered from the hours of passion we expressed. Nothing can compare to the beauty that she shows, and the candle's lights of gold and orange make her seem like her body was made out of pure gold. I do everything for her. She is my goddess, my inspiration, and my muse. I try to tell her that, but no such combination of words will express my true feelings for her. I think she knows what I feel and think of her. Her smile tells all I need to know.
I continue to comb her back and watch her sleep for an hour before I too sleep beside her. "

The lighting in the scene works really well and, once again, all those tiny tiny tiny cross hatches and pen shading really shows your commitment to the image ^^
I like how the piece is sensual without being overly sexual - the characters are almost androgynous which adds tot he selling power for anyone looking at the image without the sex (it could be any mix of genders and any thousand of stories)
The text is rich with description which works well, though there are a couple of tense issues (sometimes she "is" lying and other times she "could" be heard - mixing present tense and past) but nothing that really causes much of an issue. There is one typo "cress" which should be "caress" one of those words that has sneaky letter sin there that a lot of dialects don't enunciate. And one of the sentences is a little tangled up on itself "Nothing can compare to the beauty that she shows, and the candle's lights of gold and orange make her seem like it was made out of pure gold.", i'm not sure what the "it" is that seems like it's made of gold.
The language is very heartfelt though ^^ it's a wonderful piece. Also Pumpkin pie candles are my favorite (or any of those "spiced autumnal" themed ones you can get) so it helps to bring up the scene in my nose ^^;

You have an amazing way of making your art more than just the picture; your detailed drawing and storywriting really bring out the mood of the scene... and when the viewer sees it, they see the mood is as beautiful and tender and heartfelt as the image. Awesomely well done, man.
