Okay, listen. I know that those of you who managed to get through this story and are familiar with the other stuff that I write are probably scratching your heads right now, wondering what the hell possessed me to go down this route. Well... to be honest, I'm not entirely sure either. Paw stuff has always been weird for me; it's something I've both enjoyed and hated in my time in this community, but lately I've found myself wanting to explore it a bit more in my creative endeavors. So when I got the opportunity to do a collaboration with someone who does both paw and TF stuff, I decided that it was the perfect time to try my hand at something like this. And... wow. I honestly didn't think I had it in me to write something like this, but I managed to pull it off. Sometimes I surprise myself like that.

Anyway! As I said above, this was a collaboration with  doraneirok, who drew the above picture and allowed me to use his characters (Doran and Naya) in the story. He was a lot of fun to work with, and I want to especially thank him for helping me work through some of my misgivings regarding the plot and subject matter. I don't know how much I'll be writing about this kind of thing in the future, but I'm really grateful for the help I got given that it was my first time. So thanks a lot!
