Those who know me know I'm a gigantic NEEEERD and RPGs (D&D in particular) make me a happy Ambaaargh. Getting ready to start up a new campaign with some friends soon and I got tapped to be the cleric. The setting is in Eberron which I've never played in really before so I figured why not go warforged.
Those who don't know D&D: The warforged are pretty much a construct race made of metal and wood yet they have free will. They were made en masse to serve in the last war but when it ended most were told to go live their lives and do their own thing.
It's not a very grand picture, mainly it was me trying to work out a face that didn't look completely terrible. Metal and myself are not the best of friends. Also, wood grain is not my friend either. The pose is pretty bland but that was mainly because I was working out the outfit details. The warforged are sexless and genderless but a few eccentric types will take to wearing clothes or even identifying themselves as a particular gender. So trying to get a large armoured body into a pretty dress amuses me more than it should. Though long skirts always end up looking incredibly blah. I really liked how the sleeves cam out and then its just a blank space of blah for the lower half. Blaaaaaah.
I normally don't like posting black and white art, I find my inking is incredibly flat and bland.
All in all, it should be a fun campaign and I look forward to it. Odds are if/when I get the hang of actually drawing this character it will show up again. Hopefully in a less static pose of laaaaame.

In theory one could go reforged prestige class...but its kind of a lame prestige class. Especially if you have a spellcasting type since its basically 3 levels of fluff.
But yeah, I look forward to this character since it is going to be a fun time of trying to be expressive despite having a face that never changes expression. XD

She is quite cute hun. I am not a big fan of Eberron for what they tried to do with it, but I must say, the two races it introduced are quite good. Though not much for the Warforged, I do so love the Shifters. *chuckles* A Furry that likes a race descended from Lycanthropes, how odd . . . *grins*
I just got back into D&D Online now that they made it free. You have to earn Turbine Points in game, or buy them with real money, to play a Warforged, but that is fine, the class / race combos for the first three of my normal four characters are available. Elven Rogue, Human Paladin, Elven Cleric. The fourth is one I will have to earn/buy points for, my Drow Wizard. But you have to get points for more then two character slots, so that is a ways off.

Well, Here's the set-up. The players are going on the lightning rail to the Talenta Plains. between Wroat and Hatheril they meet the warforged cleric, Pifl a changeling following the path of truth, Kor Eldor a human warrior who hates warforged after loosing his arm to one in the war, A mysterious cloaked woman who is a previous villain who escaped from prison and is in disguse, Drum, a warforged bard who uses his on body as a percussion instrument, Shiah, a ten year old girl who seems to be traveling alone (she has her stuffed ghost tiger to protect her), and an attractive male half-elf who makes advances towards all the female passengers, named Elli. in the middle of the night a cloaked figure rushes out of the cargo bey (probably past one of the party members, and into the rest car. If the players look in the cargo bay they'll find the warforged cleric's dead body. when they go back to investigate, the aforementioned people will look out of there rooms and see what's the matter...
