Through many transformation sequences and other anthros that has wings, they grow from the shoulder blades that are in the back of the character. Having them grow out of your back like that is... not so good.

Here's the second part of the transformation sequence made by Artist-Guy (his second page right here [link] ). I loved how the wings came out in this one and how expressive he made Natalia there when her wings came busting out of her like that, though I like the realism of her mouth there. I wish I can learn how to draw wings like that some time later without having to put too much effort about the detail of her feathers.
