I think its because macs use a CMYK coloring system while pc uses RGB. I know, it sucks. =(

Nah, it's more likely the program he's using on the Mac uses CMYK for printing.

Macs use standard RGB values, just like everyone else XD

All of this artist's art looks fine on my monitor.

It is more likely that he is witnessing the effect of going from a Mac with dynamic gamma adjustment (all macs have done this for over a decade) to a PC with no gamma adjustment at all. This usually means that the monitor INF and ICM profile was not installed, so the monitor's color representation is not calibrated correctly. You can fix it by grabbing the monitor's model number off of the sticker on the back and then downloading the matching 'monitor driver' or 'monitor inf' from the manufacturer's website (if the manufacturer doesn't provide these then the monitor sucks for art, sorry).

heh i wish , Its the schools monitor , i was only working on it there cuase I had the whole day to dick around int he computer lab -- ands its nice a quite there -- I'll ahve to rbing it back there and load up the file and Mess with it :/

Dude use the DA protfolio thingy, its free, you create your own domain name, doesn't have adverts or anything and looks very professional. it includes different folders and room for CV etc

Darkness is do to the gamma between both systems, try using a brighten tool on the image on your PC.

All in all it's a very nice picture. hehe

What Furion001 said - it's a difference in monitors, probably... happens to me all the time. And this guy seems to be in an environmental suit, and apparently normally breathes... gore : D
