I've made quite a lot of these now! Wow. This isn't even all of them. I wish I could have had a group shot with all the other western wildlife I did a few years back - the badger, ferret, and burrowing owl would have looked great here.

The dragon is a bit of an outlier, I suppose, haha.

All these are paper mache. I build the bases, paper mache them, smooth them with gesso and sanding, paint with acrylic, and then seal them and add elastic. Totally wearable and fairly durable, though they all have some noticeable asymmetry because of their handmade, unmolded nature. The masks also work really well as decor and can easily be hung on a wall.
