So! This was on the exotic fruit tier on Patreon ages ago (they get to see comic extras and world building stuff) and I did post a sketch with it but I don't think I ever explained it. This is teen Mort!
I decided that Mort and his siblings would go through a few fur molts where they change colors. I haven't designed his siblings yet, but the plan is that they all start a dark gray color that changes progressively until adulthood, in Mort's case lightening until his ivory adult coat pokes through. He's probably horse sized at this point, and if possible more grumpy than he becomes.
