The design draws strongly on the Locust warmachine from the now-defunct Robogear wargame. I quite liked the design, but I feel it was treated lazily. This is sortof my attempt to improve on it.

I find these kind of 'Mechs to be far more superior to their humanoid counterpart, honestly I'm not sure how - maybe because the digitigrade legs offer more strength and balance... or they just suit better. XD They look more sinister and destructive when armed right. Even a huge bot with a laser sword doesn't beat the classic chicken-walker style.
