During a raid by corrupted outsiders, Lissly's hometown was saved by a company of elegant sun elf archers. Their speed, precision, and bravery made a deep impression on Lissly. Instead of being a cleric like her mother, Lissly became a ranger like her father. She learned to hunt, track, and to fight.

That same archer company began to recruit new members and Lissly stepped up to become one of them. Rather than hunting outsiders or Savros infected creatures, the grass fae archer has been assigned much different missions. Lissly has been charged with tracking down and bringing back champions who are MIA from the ongoing ritual battles with their enemies on the borders of the faelands that buffer the material world from the rifts and boundaries outsiders live in. Since she can move so quickly and so silently over large swaths of territory between the realms, Lissly has excelled at her work.

She does her job with zeal and pride, but can't seem to deal with the malfunctions in her enchanted gear or the weird charm spells that bring amorous attention to her presence. This sometimes lands her in situations where she ends up "fraternizing" with the fae champions rather than simply beating them down and dragging them back to do their duty. Many go back gladly as part of a strange pact made with the diminutive archer that they're sworn to secrecy about.

Her mother tells her to embrace her more libidinous nature as a grass fae(and pump out some grandchildren to revere the earth god). Lissly says she has higher ambitions than being another cleric or a housewife. Lallas just thinks her little girl has much higher standards wants to bag a sun elf all her own before she's ready to lay down roots.
