I've noticed this as a trend, actually! I think most people are scared of birds because their body language is a bit harder to read for most, unlike a cat or a dog. I think the more time people spent with birds and learning how they communicate, the less scared many people would be! :D Also thank you, the artist did an amazing job! If you ever see her at a con feel free to ask for a hug!
