Commission done for a local temple. Kind of a different take on the Egyptian winged-disk symbol. Originally, this was just going to be a sketch to be transferred to physical scrolls, (painted by hand in ink and gold leaf). I cleaned up the sketch version and suddenly realized that we actually had extra art we could use for online/print things as well. Yay for accidental other uses, haha!

This artwork is to be used only by the group commissioning it. I’m not usually so guarded, but we have had issues with this one. It wasn’t malicious or anything, and has been taken care of. I think since this is an ancient symbol used by many, it’s easy for people browsing for clipart of the symbol to think that this is open for use as well. But to be clear: no, it is not.

On another note, bear with me for a bit, I have a few more oddball jobs to post here and there! I know it’s outside of the norm, but I’m happy with the results of a few of these, and would love to share them with all of you :)
