Thanks! I really wanted to pack in the nostalgia in this one, since this is when I got into the Sonic series when I was a kid (don't worry, I went back and played the old ones later!). DANG that would have been a good idea.... I was just trying to make it resemble a Motorolla Razr, since those came out not too terribly long after the game was released and was the phone I had when I got the game lol
Ah, same history for me, I wasn't allowed to play videogames when I was a kid during the 90s so I was never around a Genesis or a SNES, and I was barely around the N64 and Playstation since it was only friends that had those, plus hotels, really I was never truly exposed to Sonic until my cousin got a gamecube and sonic adventure 2 for his birthday and everyone was playing the multiplayer mode, was totally blown away by it. So yeah, similar history with the series, in fact I was exposed to the classics shortly after when my brother got a gamecube for the following christmas and my other brother got Sonic Mega Collection for his birthday the following month.
That's awesome! Haha, I got introduced to it via multiplayer too by a friend! After he showed me one of the bosses he was having trouble with, and I beat it for him in one try. He was so mad lmao. The Sonic Mega Collection!!! I used to have that! I think that's how I played the older games since I never had a Genesis. I think it got discontinued a couple years after I was born so by the time I was old enough to play it, it had been replaced by newer stuff like the Dreamcast lol
