And our hero makes a safe landing, knowing he wounded his adversary to the point of leaving his arms hindered, and turning the scales to his favor.
As always, the evil Buns supervises the battle with the help of Ikyrio, and reveals to the lion the real mechanics of his hypnosis.
The bear doesn't rely in brute hypnosis, instead, he favors a more crafty method: He uses hypnosis to please his victim, to know him better to an intimate level, unveiling needs and secret desires, all of them tools he uses to slowly influence the hero, making his victim rework his own perspectives and believes.
The result, a hero who deeply believes in the righteousness of "his" cause, instead of a mindless drone that obeys word by word.
In the contingency the hero "snaps out" of the hypnosis, Buns' method wouldn't be affected: since the hero changed all his believes by his own hand, he would see all the changes as his own choices, and wouldn't question them.
Maybe it's not as instantaneous and brutal as regular mind control but... his style is way darker.
Also... Symbiote healing!!

And there's finally some light on 01's mental state, i knew there were several people wondering how it worked. I hope this answered some questions.
The system is simple compared to traditional sci-fi hypno but... if you think about it, quite sinister. Altho i feel like it fits the bear. He loves being crafty.

Ok, I know a lot of us are here for the fetish aspect, but seeing the in depth look at how 01 is being manipulated gives me hope for a some redemption in the future. I have become emotionally attached to these characters and I definitely should not have because I have a feeling this is going to get sad.
To be honest, we will have fetish later, but i put my heart on the story way more. I know it started kinkier, but once i started making the story i couldnt help to put more thought on the characters.

Even in the flames of hell burning in contempt a hero stands not knowing what is to come. The world calls for him to cool these fires with the ice he holds over his heart but now sees that these flames are what blind him as well. Clouded by the ash as they burn brighter with hatred one holds for the other the battle comes to its true sanctum of ideology that the good and evil both exist within their own realm of reality and the final blow will only leave one standing over the other with no hope of a good tidings between two former friends but those beyond they power controlled their fate as true heroes but now look at one another and finally see the world for as it is. Born to kill and bred to die, if one leaves this world one may just take his place over him and repeat this never ending cycle of regrets and anger.
WOW the story just keeps getting better and better. The action is fever pitched yet the story reigns over all. Developing with every panel. Even the panels with very little text help tell so much of the story and what is going on in 01's and Frostbites mind. Now we see even more than ever before what happened to 01 and why he is so fiercely loyal. He fights so hard because it truly is what he believes in that he is fighting for. He wants it so bad and is willing to give his all to win for what he fights for. We even see that with Frostbite he too fights so hard giving every ounce of what he has for what he believes in. Truly hero's in every sense of the word.
I'm so anxious to see where the battle goes from here and how Frostbite handles 01's sudden and speedy recovery. How will the large polar bear hero handle this development and adjust to counteract it. 01's intensity has grown so much again and now it seems like he has really pulled out the last of the stops. I wonder who will gain the upper hand next and how long will they hold it. Plus what else will we learn about these two as this battle continues before our very eyes.

And thus we see the diabolical genius of brainwashing. That is the danger of hypnosis at times. Find that one chink in the armor, and you can figure out how to rewire a person's thinking to dance to your tune. Excellent panels, sir. And I love this story very much. I'm curious. Is Rubber Buns able to see, too, or is he just getting a play by play from this other person?

Persuasion: the better mental configuring method. It's a good thing the Buns realized that. It's interesting because it was hinted earlier in the pre-battle convo that 01 has taken all of Buns beliefs and goals as his own.

This comic... This COMIC! You don't know how much you've touched my button the right way. Its to the point I'm making this comment to begin with.
I love brainwashing as a kink, I do believe most of your audience does and that's what you've been known for quite a while. However, This being your first try at a grand comic as far as I'm aware of, I think you've been doing something beautiful. Not only when it comes to improving in your art but also showing off your storytelling skills. I'm not expert when it comes to critique, but I believe you've been creating something that's real piece of real powerful work~ Its clear to see the passion within your pages.
Now when It comes to brainwashing, I love me some simple mindless obedience like some of your drones pics beforehand. You've always been good at showing off some deeper stuff when it comes to workings of your brainwashing. This form of Advance brainwashing you've revealed on this page its just really appealing to me personally.
Why is that? because despite enjoying the concept of brainwashed obedience, I also paradoxically love the concept of Zeal. I enjoy seeing heroes that are unbreakable in a way when it comes to their beliefs, or capable of overcoming things that would break them. Frostbite shows such a zeal, and so its Wildfire himself, despite his condition. The way Buns has twisted and played with said Zeal shows both his cunning as a villain and his authority as boss, and honestly makes me enjoy him as a character as well. <3

Wooooow!!~~ That’s a very unique take on hypnosis and mind control.~I’ve never seen an in depth explanation quite like this one.~ Also it seems like Frostbite got a little too complacent after he thought his rival was down for the count.~ But his wounds can heal and looks like 01 is about to land the final blow.~~

I hope this story has a happy ending! I've grown too far close the characters, in actually gwttng emotionally attached, i dont even care fpr the sex scenes lol im rradingvfor tbis stoy, i van tell you put alot of thought into the plot,it makes happy to see someone so dedicated to writing! I can't wait to see the rest!

I do wanna say this about the comic. It keeps me guessing most of the time on where it's going. I know that Frostbite will definitely become a drone though

...Well, you sure make your case seem appealing don't-cha? Here I am sitting thinking: Generic hypnosis, dude's acting somewhat like himself but his morality has changed to be working under the burr, but... he's 100% himself (or at the very least 90%... 75%?) , 'the goalposts have shifted' as it were. The prospect of poor frosty getting taken and drone-ified is becoming much more... attractive.
Awesome story components aside (seriously, well done on those) the comic is visually stunning. The lighting, details showing the burned scuff marks on Frosty's fur, and that FINAL PANEL. The heated, but not flaming punch, dark smoke and 01's suit being lit up by the flame of their battle.

That comic is truly just getting better and better, its plot thickening and background becoming more and more clear. Really well done.
And especially well done on the concept of how he manages to keep Wildfire under his thumb. It is not so much brainwashing, which implies a forcefull insertion of ideas and orders into one's mind, but he has rather been corrupted/persuaded. Maybe we can say that he is now under the spell of an advanced kind of Stockholm syndrome, where he truly sympathizes with the cause of his boss now. We have seen such things happen IRL, so it is not unreasonable to think that in a comic world, one can create such a situation artificially and use it in a controlled manner to gain these heroes as their allies and use them as anit-heroes. Though I do wonder, given that it is possible to remove the symbiont somehow, does the symbiont still sort of help to keep these corrupted goals of Wildfire intact, or would the corruption sort of fade away without the symbiont?

Another fantastic addition to this awesome comic series! I love the way every page keeps you on the edge of your seat, waiting to see what happens next. I also agree with everyone else on the interesting take on brainwashing/mind manipulation. It makes perfect semse that Buns would not want 01 (or even Frosbite) to be a complete drone but to have free will enough to act on his own, only with a bend towards what Buns wants. I hate to admit it, but I want to see Frostbite become a rubber hero even more now and I can't explain why.

I really don't want this to sound bad, but I was on U18chan and made a scarily similar prediction to what your concept of what happened to Wildfire would be. I made these comments nearly a month back and honestly when I read this page it felt nearly identical, so it got me wondering if you saw my theory and took inspiration or whether I just made a good call in advance?

Look i'm NOT against the comic being reuploaded, i'm happy someone wanted to share it, but i'd wish it was properly uploaded. there are random and unrelated pictures all dumped under the name of the main progect. It's quite chaotic and lacks order, i'm reading people confused about it there.
Anyways, i hate to dissappoint you, but as you can see, this comic started a year ago, and, while i've been changing the main script here and there, the main points stay the same. I even have book 2 scripted from begining to end ;)
