While going through youtube, I came across this video called Sir George and the Dragon www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8gR1A… and I ended up liking it. So basically I wondered, what if the dragon in the video had a family? Well basically I imagine in a possible followup to this video, years pass and eventually Sir George passes away, leaving Ascalon (purple dragon) the sole defender of the kingdom. One day, some evil befalls the kingdom, and Ascalon goes off to save it.

Along the way, she encounters a male dragon named Ivan (orange dragon) who accompanies her on her quest. Ivan is smitten with Ascalon and journeys with her in order to make her his mate. But over time the two start to develop genuine feelings for one another and become mates for real after the quest is over. Some time later, the pair have a son whom Ascalon names George.
