"After Peridot and Lapis were told by Connie that their 'advanced Earth armor' was really just undergarments for young humans, they were deeply humiliated. They decided to approach Garnet and confront her about her trick.
When they spoke to Garnet, she stood there quietly for a moment, then she made a little half smile, and then de-fused into Ruby and Sapphire. Ruby stood there pouting, while Sapphire smiled at Lapis and Peridot. She told the two that now that they know Garnet tricked them, it'd only be fair for them to give her and Ruby the same treatment.
Not long after, Ruby and Sapphire were put in diapers of their own, being bottle-fed and played with by Peridot and Lapis. Ruby looked like she was hating every minute of it, while Sapphire had a look on her face that seemed to say that she had been hoping for this to happen from the beginning."
