More of the very good girl, Rita!

Yeah it is definitely not a common color pattern and combo seen in the US. I think most I've seen are a more tan/brown with distinctive signature markings that stand out than this darker "muddy" look where everything looks blended together. About the only thing that helps show she is pure is her confirmation and ears. Them big radar ears!
They're not as well-known but they're not exactly unheard of either. Tan with the black mask and saddle is definitely the most popular and the most iconic, but I've seen plenty of sables, silvers, black and tan, etc. They're a lot more common in working lines; if you search "police dog" on google images you'll get a lot more sables
Lol, I'm aware. xD Did not say they were unheard of. Yes, it's more common in working lines (which she is, actually). I meant to the average person. Most folks I deal with don't know what my dog is, outside of GSD groups or knowledgeable dog owners anyway. Only person that has was a police officer, in fact. I'm well researched, no worries.
She looks so much like my brothers shep, Ottis...and look at those ears. Thems sugar scoops!
Just please keep watch on those ears, my brothers dog is also a pure-breed and he gets infections bad (think it might be because the dog was actually born in Germany, so American plants aren't making friendly)

This is her and her favorite toy! http://www.furaffinity.net/view/26696349/
She's a fetcher, will often drop said ball in your lap so you'll throw it lol. She does like tugs too, but ball is life. xD

All shall bow to the power of ball. My brothers dog Ottis. Lives for catch. He won't give you the ball back for fetch, he expects you to chase him for it. I'm master of the safe tackle so when he brings the ball to me at least. He drops it. His brother Diego..his favorite game is keep away
And it's odd I dunno if your lady puppers does this to, however my brothers' dogs have a thing we call "Butt-dar" where they will sit on your foot. With out looking. The whole, long as I'm touching you it counts. Is it a German Shepard thing? Or are my brothers boys a little..unique?
