マンガアーティストも愛が必要

Title translates to, "Manga Artists Need Love Too"(1).

I am trying to do more art. I am told it is therapeutic. It seems to be mostly true.
This one was done over a period of many more days than it needed to be. I did the initial rough sketching work, and then a cleaned blue-line sketch on the day before I left for Anthrocon 2018. The day after I got back, I did the linework, screentone, writing, and post. Today I am putting it on FA.
I really wanted a different effect with her eyes. I am satisfied with them, as the entire image evolved because of it. But, that is art. Never exactly the same as you planned it. I also did some experimentation with the line widths. I have done some work with varied line widths in the past, but that was pressure based. This time it was purely post line placement.

(1) I could have also gone with something like, マンガのアーティストはあまりにも愛する必要があります(2), but I felt I should keep it simple.
