I'm a huge fan of those square teeth. I think their unaligned nature prove to be more menacing and far more interesting in appearance than the commonplace fang. I also dig the theme with their tips fading into smoke. What would you think if you gave Somni like.. some kind of distinct aroma? Since it's body fades off into smoke sorta like a candle would.

But yee dude, absolutely love this design!! And this sudo-television-feedback looking background very much compliments the dreamlike theme ;0;

I burn a lot of incense so I always thought maybe my subconscious got inspired by how the smoke twirls off the end of the stick for Somni's tail and ears? If I ever drew/commissioned someone to draw Somni realistically, the ends would definitely be done similarly to how that looks.
As for their scent; most of the time my dreams don't have smells but when they do, the whole dream smells the same. It's really hard to describe haha But it's like walking into a candle shop and everything has a strong smell to it except with one or maybe two smells instead of a whole variety. With that said, the few Somni dreams I've had with smells have been earthy scents like white sage mixed with bonfire or wet leaves and dirt.
