Late night scribbling. Meh. I like the face anyway.
After being thoroughly disenchanted with drawing digitally for a long while I'm getting back into it. It allows me to find lines, which has always been my favorite aspect of it.

Damn, i love this! The face in particular is lovely. Also the colors, swirly bg, and matchstick legs, yay!
Yeah, the thing with digital is that it's less accurate, less sensitive and the feedback is sometimes silly. It needs getting used to.
The thing that embodies the very essence of digital (how poetic), to me, is how Painter has this bad habbit of randomly disappearing without even the slightest error notice - one moment you're intensely focussed on getting that toenail right, you're basicly an inch away from the monitor, that toenail becomes a matter of life and death, you see nothing but "the toenail"... Then you blink for a second and you continue to work out of inertia, except there's no toenail... you're "drawing" on the desktop... pushing and pulling icons instead. You notice this fact 5 seconds later. 10 seconds later you realise what just happened. 15 seconds later you cry.
It's like seeing your child running to you from school, both of you are happy and smiling and you're about to hug him and ask him how was his first day at school, and... His head explodes.
Wonderful feeling.
