I will admit I'm a bit of a destructophile. Watching things rot, crumble, collapse, blow up, burn down and fall apart fascinate me to the point where most people would recommend psychiatric treatment. But at the same time, I like seeing things get built. I like those time-lapse videos of constructing vehicles, cooking food, growing plants and developing embryos. Creation and destruction are just amazing concepts that I find to be almost a natural art.
which is one thing I like about both nature and technology- whenever something is destroyed, something completely different is made from the remains. Mushrooms grow on fallen trees. Fertile beaches form from volcanic eruptions. Trillions upon trillions of tiny skeletons crush together to form chalk. It's a bizarre kind of balance more beautiful than any artist could possibly re-imagine.
So in the meantime, enjoy the hideous zombie dog.
