Perhaps one of the most evil of my pics, this one was a journey to create. For what I draw, these are some ambitious poses. You can see I struggled with the length of Sunny's right arm in the right half of the pic, and I got fickle with the motion lines on the hairbrush. Sunny's face on the right side of the picture is something I'm not too big a fan of either, since the eyes are too far apart. Her feet also don't look that great in the left half of the picture. Finally, Rain's legs on the left side might just be a little too long. Other than that, though, this is one of my favorites of the six drawings of these two.

This takes place a lot later on in Rain and Shine. Sunny is a lot more sinister and she is not being playful with Rain. Rather, she's a fiend here, with a distaste for Rain and a sadistic tickle fetish. She has captured poor Rain for a long, dragged-out session of full-on torture under the beaming sunlight. In the open meadows, there is nobody to help Rain, there is no shade to shelter Rain, and there is no place for Rain to run or hide if she even did escape. Having previously been friends with Rain, Sunny quickly begins to remember all of the most sensitive areas that can make her victim squeal, much to her delight.

As it gets hotter and hotter, Rain gets more and more exhausted. By the middle of the afternoon, Rain's feet have been scrubbed raw by Sunny's hairbrush, and Sunny has repositioned Rain on her lap to mercilessly prod at her pet's sensitive belly. Fully exhausted at this point, Sunny watches with glee as Rain crumbles under the heat and plans to keep the torture lasting on till the late evening. Of course, Sunny doesn't intend to tickle Rain to the point of heat stroke, so she's brought plenty of water for her victim. She keeps it just a couple yards or so from Rain's head, drilling into the captive's psyche that despite how close the refreshment is, only her captor can access them.

Rain can't stay like this forever, though. She'll be freed eventually, and she'll work things out with Sunny. Maybe even some sort of payback. Until then, though, her happy ending has to wait. She can only stew in her sweat and tears...
