Jun lay on her favorite branch, waking up slowly from her afternoon snooze. Rubbing the sleep from her eyes, the cheshire cat looked down onto the road that wound its way around Wounderland. Jun's striped purple tail twitched slightly as she watched several of the critters that inhabited the forrest skitter about in the brush. Jun lept off the branch, softly landing on the ground, and started walking back to where her living space was. At the sound of several tea kettles whistleing, Jun smiled. She stopped at the gate to the Mad Hatter's perpetual party. "Hey, M.H.!!" she called out, giving him a wave when he and the march hair turned to greet her. After several invitations to stay for the March Hair's unbirthday party, Jun replied "Sorry guys, at best I can stay for half a cup of tea."
The mad hatter took a tea cup, and split it down the middle, while the march hair poured the tea. Bringing her the half cup of tea, the mad hatter gave her a small smile. Thanking him, Jun quickly drank the tea, handed the cup back to the hatter, then waved good bye. Normally, Jun would stay for a few cups at least, but today.... Today she just didn't feel like staying for their antics. Something just felt different for the last few days, something she couldn't put her paw on. Shrugging, Jun continued back to her place. The skirt and t-shirt she was wearing showed off her nice figure, without overtly drawing attention to her body. As she walked down the winding, almost confusing road, Jun just enjoyed the infrequent quiet of the forest. Breathing in the smell of the forest, she hurried passed the walrus carpenter; both working on... something.
As she was passed the two of them, Jun heard two people ahead of her. Mentaly groaning, she was about to go into a nearby tree when the two came around a bend in the road. One was a male panda, medium height; the other a female cheeta, maybe an inch shorter. They hadn't seen her yet, but still she stood in the middle of the road, her curiosity over riding her need to hide. "I know, but I need to know where we are before we should head out," he said.
Sighing, the cheeta responed "We do know where we are: lost." rubbing his eyes, the panda let out a long sigh of frustration. Just as Jun was about to rush behind the nearest tree, the cheeta spotted her. Smiling at Jun, the cheeta waved and called out "Hey, could you help us?" Nodding, Jun walked over to them. "My name's Xalu, and my panda boyfriend is Patrick. I was woundering if you knew the way to the Red Queen's palace," Xalu asked.
Slowly nodding, Jun said "My name's Jun, and yeah; I know where it is." Walking over to a near by tree and leaning on it, Jun said "If you go back the way you came, it's much faster than going to where you were heading. But, I prefer to take the direct route." Pulling on a branch, a doorway opened up into the Queen's garden. Gasping slightly, Patrick and Xalu went towards the enterance. After Xalu went through, Patrick turned to Jun and said "why don't you come with us? We could use your help." With nothing much better to do, Jun shrugged, and went into the doorway.
Once in the Queen's garden, Jun lead the way to the castle. On the way, Jun said "One thing you need to remember at all times is to not contradict her. Don't do anything that might get her angry. She doesn't like it, and will silence you. Permanently." Shuddering, the others nodded in understanding. As they approched, Patrick looked at both of his companions and said, "You know what? I think I wanna skip this point of the tour."
Xalu turned to Patrick and said "Oh thank goodness, I didn't want to go to see the Queen after what Jun said either.."
Breathing a sigh of relief, Patrick asked "what do you say we get back home?"
"Yeah, I want to get home too," Xalu answered. Turning to Jun, she asked "You wanna come too? We could show you around our home town." Thinking it over for a moment, Jun answered.
"Sure, I'd like to see it. It will be nice to see other places, aside from wounderland."
A grin slowly growing on his muzzle, Patrick said "Cool. Let's head out." Talking happily, they all headed out for what was now a home for the three of them.
