Masane is one of my favorite characters in anime, her story was tragic and I despised how it ended. All she did was get screwed over by everyone (including that guy who didn't deserve her), and all she wanted was a peaceful life for her and the girl she was raising FOR the people that were screwing her over!
But here, it is assumed that she has attained mastery of the witchblade and is enjoying freedom, whether anyone likes it or not....
