I didn't know that the name Amalthea was from greek mythology.
Upon seeing the title, I remembered your one picture inspired by "The Last Unicorn" (you are the artist I'm thinking of, right?) and remembered that the protagonist's name from that film was Amalthea as well.
In any case, lovely picture. Your "doodles" never fail to impress.

There was an anthro TLU Amalthea from me some years ago, if that's you're guess: http://www.furaffinity.net/full/119526/
And thank you.
And thank you.
actually one of my favorite mythological tales. The father of the gods, Kronos, devouring his children out of fear. Insanity night after sleepless night with the titans and the cyclops bellowing from beneath his castle. The struggle of young Zeus growing up amongst the catacombs of the imprisoned. I actually dont remember the goat part but then again, its been many years. When I saw this I was initially thinking it was Ayla-Nyagrath, the black goat of the woods with a thousand young from the H.P. Lovecraft mythos.
Very nice grayscale rendering by the way. I love the organic curves everything has to it, it really ties the two into one single form.
