Despite being fused/infested with a contagious gooey parasite... Shooks is a pretty good guy!
Sure I might not always show off his best side... But sometimes motives are misinterpreted.
Ultimately everything Shooks does is to better society.
Okay fine maybe not everything, but that is the CANONICAL goal of the symbiotic pairing. It might be a bit backwards in how he goes about it, but you can't argue with results!
