Learning german is evil, for there aren't only names which begin with a capital letter.
It's my native tongue, but I like english more, because of its easier grammar.
And RE wasn't that great for me. At the end of nearly each book, a huge amount of people you got introduced to at the beginning, died and something explodes, either a town or a big structure. I get bored of that.
