So I am bad with surprises, so... Surprise! Got me a new 2018 Chevrolet Colorado, black tie edition Z71. In short, it is a luxury sports truck. 8-O !!!
I wanna get some custom license plates for it. I am thinking it should say SRZORRO. Which would mean Mr Fox. =)

Nice truck. I've encountered black and red versions of this truck a few times when I was heading to my grandparent's house. I like this version of the Colorado than the original that tried too hard to look like the 1500 Silverado's. The new version now has its' own identity. I'd love to get it with the 4 cylinder Duramax but it will only let you get it if you go for the ZR2 package. But that won't happen for a very long time. I'll probably fix up "my" 04 Silverado first. :)
That's kind of why the multiple engine choices they give you is a love/hate affair. They give you an engine you want over another but when you choose it they force you to go with a more expensive package you either don't want or need. Because for me the small Duramax + the Z71 package would be perfect on this truck. My current Silverado is also a Z71 done up in their older Victory Red. Which they no longer offer as a color choice. Sadly, for the price of the Colorado's ZR2 package, you're just best to go with a Silverado.
