Feeling nostalgic.
You ever kinda wish all of the fun things could stay the same?
But if it did, we'd never have new fun stuff and new fun stuff is exciting!
I sorta miss being a dumb kid in middle school, just drawing OCs and weeby crap. It was a little less hectic feeling then? LOL

I agree but...in this adulthood which I find myself in, I find that I can create worlds were I dream of being a father to an adorable son in a world where the problems of today are as distance as the War of 1812...where everyone lives in peace.
I don't remember my childhood as I had to grow up fast to help care for my grandmothers who have now pasted on, so I created a world where I care for a little one who looks up to me. Surprisingly, that gives me as much joy as writing about being a kid would.
Does that make sense?
